5'8'' performance quad fish | clear surfboard

5'8'' x 19 3/4'' x 2 1/4'' performance Quad Fish that was glassed by Ryan Oas at Jeff Hull Fiberglass in Ventura. I shaped the first version of this design as part of a quiver to take to Indonesia in 2022. This design is focused on vertical surfing, breaking free in the lip through turns, and navigating with control in the barrel. The outline features a slightly forward wide point, lots of overall curve, and a slight hip placed around the fins. The bottom shape consists of panel V entry, with inverted V cut into the panel V in order to straighten the center entry rocker curve while still keeping the benefits of the raised rail line entry intact for late takeoffs. It then transitions to a single concave through most of the board of which evens out to flat at the tail tips. 6oz E + 6oz S on the deck, 6oz E on the bottom with a sanded finish.
